Message of the Chair : The department of Anatomy was inaugurated on 3rd October 1966 to welcome the first batch of 75 graduates. From that instance on the department has heard footfalls of more than 4100 graduate students in these passing years. It is most satisfying that our students have consistently cleared the boards in each batch. The academic year has a planned calendar of academic activities, with integrated teaching and clubs activities. The Department awards a Gold Medal for the best student from the department. The department has a voluntary body donor scheme with 120 registered donors who have registered willingly to donate their bodies for anatomy studies after their death.
